DARLING IN THE FRANXX - A Tale of Two Soldiers

In 21XX, the world was bathed in the hellfires of invasion by an unknown titanic kind called the "Klaxosaurs".

Since then, humanity has gone on to respond against them with their own new weapon: The "FranXX". The United Nations (UN) has agreed to form an agency known as the "Apex Protection and Execution" (APE) program. A united faction consisting of pilots who defend the world from Klaxosaurs. And what lies beneath are the elite unit known as the "Parasites", consisting of multiple Squads.

Among them is the infamous Squad 13. Their reputation is not because of them as a team, but because of one man: Hiroyuki "Hiro" Räikkönen. A.k.a. "Venom". A silent, hotshot who has been shaking up APE because of his deadly, unshackled, and often suicidal approach in his missions. But what lies beneath him is not all that it seems.

Not until he crosses paths with an alluring woman. A type many would find incomprehensible, unreal even.

Leila Lockhart. Code Number: Zero Two. Beautiful, bloodstained, and utterly inhuman, she gained a reputation as the "Partner Killer" for overwhelming her partners because of her own inhumane nature. A woman who thrives on chaos. Behind her devilish smirk and blood-drenched hands is a past just as buried as his-and a connection that neither of them expected to resurface.

Both souls have no regard for their own... but can they find something out of themselves when there's nothing left?
