"lee?" i ask.
"mhm. may have a pretty face but a bad soul."
"what do you know about her?" i defend.
"she hit someone with her trumpet during band."

emilee sawyer was always a odd kid. instead of studying for her algebra tests, she would be drawing stars on her sneakers or sleeping, instead of paying attention in class she would be secretly listening to music. just like old tom sawyer, she's always been a great friend, overprotective, comedic, all the best stuff. she always is talking because she's afraid of losing people, just like her mother.. her mom, lucy sawyer was a drop-out, having emilee in college with an older man, jace alaxender, a 28 year old man who's a very bad acholic. she covers up her home life with the rude insults she means as jokes.

walker scobell, a middle child and a actor. his blond hair curls and his eyes are like mini oceans, making all the girls fall for him. when he joins Mayfield high, he meets lee, a bad girl with a bad past. what will happen? will he join the life of crime or will he avoid it, along with lee?
