Bridget is your average modern girl living in the modern world, until she isn't. Teleported to a whole new world all she needs is a magic carpet, genie and a monkey to complete the set. Instead she gets a magic map, prophecy and a forest boy. Perfect, just perfect.

Set in a world where magic is real and mediaeval mixes with 1800s Bridget is trapped till she finds her way home. Saddled with a prophecy she doesn't want, accidentally betrothed to a boy she just met, life just keeps getting better and better. And on top of all that she has to wear a dress while hiking through a rainforest on a mountain! Now who thought that was a good idea? 

In an unfamiliar world how will she ever return home without her stupid conscience getting in the way.

I have been writing this story for a few years and I am going to start the next book soon but it will not be coming out for a while so don't ask for it yet. Very quickly the trio get a job trying to collect seven treasures, and Ayda is more than happy to do it since it will help repay the sailor who (begrudgingly) let them live on his boat. But while this trio doesn't get along at first, as they travel the world, they start to like and depend on each other. Which is exactly what they'll need to do when their world that originally only suggested you listen to your prophecy suddenly starts turning against those that don't. The only problem is, Ayda doesn't want to listen to her prophecy. Because if she does, she's destined to die..
