After escaping from a hellish Blood Farm run by a sadistic Vampire, Cass lives in one of the only human sanctuaries left. A place where the threat from the blood suckers was low and people worked together. For the first time in years, he was free- and it was suffocating. When the Mayor's daughter falls ill, Cass agrees to make his way back to the city he had crawled from to retrieve sorely needed medical supplies.

Four years had passed since he had broken free from The Farm, four long years he had spent trying to build his life back up.
