Natalie Woods is a young, successful lawyer from New York, the perfect woman who made all the best decisions in life. That's why she has a high-paying job and a good group of friends and a solid sense of confidence. Until she gets fired, that is.

Spiralling into a crisis, she goes back to the small town she grew up in, trying to get her life back on track. She even signs up to explore an old, dilapidated church for a renovation project, willing to attempt new things. Unfortunately, it turns out to be haunted, and with no hesitation, Natalie runs away and leaves.

Her companion does not leave, but Natalie tries to forget about it and dares not to go back. Not her fault, not her problem. Trying to re-establish her highschool romance with a good-looking lumberjack named Noah Crest, she does not go back, but the ghosts come back to her, and she will have to figure out the mystery.
