Boys are not for the weak.

It should be common sense, really. A simple rule you'd think I would've learned by now. But no- here I am, still trapped in the constant, unavoidable pull of his presence, like a moth caught in the flame of something far too dangerous.

Especially mean ones. Especially ones like Draco Malfoy- But that's the thing about mean boys, the ones like Draco, they make you question every rule, every instinct that tells you to run in the opposite direction. They pull you closer, just enough to break you, and you let them, because for a brief moment, you wonder... what if I'm the one who can change him?

The truth is, Draco Malfoy is for the strong- the ones who can look at him, see the brokenness, and walk away without a second thought. I'm not strong. I never have been. And I know that now, more than ever, as I sit here, watching him from across the room, feeling the weight of his gaze even when I'm not looking. I should hate him. I do. I really do. But every time I tell myself that, something raw and deep inside me whispers that I don't.

I can't. Because a part of me is still waiting for the day when he'll stop being the boy who breaks people and be the boy who needs saving. And that- that- is my weakness.
