Everything was going perfectly for Mob-or as perfectly as it could for an awkward middle schooler with psychic abilities. However, that all changed when he failed his end-of-year tests and was sent to Class 3-E, the class for the "mean, weird, gangster children." As Mob's master, Reigen Arataka, would put it, it is not the most ideal situation for the otherwise good kid Mob.

Now, he has to deal with intimidating classmates, extra homework, and his side job as an exorcist under his master-all at the same time.

And, of course, who could forget? The moon explodes, and the culprit is a strange octopus guy who has now been assigned as Mob's new teacher who wants to train high-school students in the lovely trait of assassination that and the government has placed a hefty bounty of 10 billion Yen on said teacher to anyone who can kill him!

Mob, on the other hand, could care less about murdering his teacher, weird tentacles or not, and is more worried about his powers being accidentally unraveled by the watchful eye of the Japanese government thanks to the fart-like spirit named Dimple for bringing it up.

That and he really needs to focus on getting his grades back up so he doesn't
have to deal with super scary murderous classmates! Or his parents-
