"Alexandra, do you mind getting that file on the top shelf over there" Nicolas glanced at me from over his glasses I looked at where he was sending me to. I would need to completely tiptoe and probably use a lower shelf for balance - even in my heels. And that's saying a lot. "Of course Mr LaRoux" "Up-buh-buh" he smiled "what have I told you about calling me Mr LaRoux" "Sorry" I smiled sheepishly He looked at me expectantly, twirling his glasses by the arm. "Nicolas" I realised. "Sorry Nicolas" I said again. Loving the way my lips curled around his name. Turning back to do what he asked of me, I discovered the file was too high for me to reach. I glanced over my shoulder ready to inform him that I would need to get a small stool to reach the file but instead of him being seated at his desk, I found him a hairs breadth away from me. I could see into the green depths of his eyes and could feel the heat radiating from his godlike body. Startled, I lost my balance but his hand shot out and held me by the waist, steadying me and pulling me back into his embrace. "Careful love, we don't want you falling over now do we" he murmured while easily reaching upwards to grab the file he sent me for. God, I'm really in trouble, aren't I?
