Shahnawaz has always found solace in poetry, but no poet has ever captivated him like the mysterious ghostwriter whose verses resonate deeply within him. Drawn to the emotion and depth of the poems.

But the poems he admires aren't written by the person he believes.

In truth, Mehrunisa is the real writer, but due to a secret contract, her poems are credited to Anmal, a celebrated poet who takes all the glory and rewards. In exchange for her anonymity, Mehrunisa is paid handsomely, but the price is steep-she is forbidden to reveal that she is the true creator of the verses.

As Shahnawaz gets closer to Anmal, believing her to be the one behind the poetry, he finds himself falling for her-at first. Yet something doesn't sit right. Despite Anmal's charm, Shahnawaz starts to doubt whether she is truly the person behind the words that so profoundly affect him.

Meanwhile, Mehrunisa struggles in silence, torn between her need for the money she receives and her desire to reveal herself to the world.
