Cassandra was an American living in the utter storm that she considered to be Manchester. She grew to love her city when her neighbor, Simon Riley, decided to speak to her one morning. The two clicked instantly, Simon becoming amused of her honesty and bravery. Simon moved away when he turned 18, and Cassandra was devastated. Her once usual fun, happy self, slow deteriating as the years went on, until one day, she just... stopped the sulking. She joined the military years later when her parents died, giving her some solace. When she saw the man she once considered her best friend, she hadn't been more relieved in her life. That was until he was oddly cold, meaning the Simon she used to know, had turned into a man filled with hatred.
