❝ so, how about we make history, ms. lillis? ❞

Film director Lina Christiansen is making a film that doesn't fit the box of Hollywood. Known for her indie, often eccentric films, made to challenge the standards, but this time, She's directing a big-budget studio dramedy, and all her actors, typically typecast in rom-coms, are sticking rigidly to their established personas and Lina is afraid that she will have to sacrifice her vision - and identity as an artist - to stop the film from being a flop. As the deadline nears, a new actor steps in - playing one of the film's main characters - and they are anything but conventional. With them, Lina could either win or lose everything, and if there wasn't enough on the line - her career, her reputation, her name, the hard-earned place in the shining, glaring lights of Hollywood, - she's beginning to fall, and this might be the last time she does.

❝ oh, we can make a good thing bad. ❞

They've known each other since they were eleven, inseparable best friends for as long as they can remember, but long distance and spotty behavior causes them to lose touch after graduation. When Maddie and Harry run into each other again ten years later, what happens when feelings that were pushed away begin to resurface? EXCERPT: "How about this..." He suddenly gets an idea, a bold one, but he can't help but share it. "If neither of us are married by thirty, let's get married." Obviously, she'll be married by thirty. She's perfect, and any man who's as dense as a rock could see it. Surely, someone will sweep her off her feet and put a ring on her finger in the next twelve years, it's inevitable with the type of person she is. Deep down he wants it to be him, but he wouldn't dare make a move that could ruin the strongest friendship he's had his entire life. Maddie finds herself smiling at Harry's idea, she loves it. It won't happen though, because some girl in the future is bound to fall in love with Harry and his kind heart, and he'll be head over heels for her too. It's inevitable that someone will fall in love with his dimpled smile and caring soul, and even though Maddie already has, she wouldn't dare make a move that could ruin the strongest friendship she's had her entire life. The age of thirty is twelve years away for them, it's too obvious that nothing will come from this harmless bet. "Deal." "Really?" Harry raises his eyebrows, amused at her response. "Really." They shake hands just as the song comes to an end and another one begins. But Harry doesn't let go of Lainey's hand, instead he catches her off guard by spinning her under his arm and dipping her. "You better not fall in love then." STARTED MARCH 2021 COMPLETED OCTOBER 2021 *NOT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE REAL HARRY STYLES OR HIS CAREER*

We are not the broken clichés you want us to be anymore. We have transcended beyond the "Good Girl ~ Bad Boy" boxes they tried to put us in. We are so far beyond all that now, that we are finally free of all those stereotypes. The story of us is not the usual cliche "good girl" meets "bad boy" that instantly fall in love. Oh, and after a few almost funny mishaps everything works out perfectly story. Or the other one where the brooding bad boy with a tragic past gets a second chance to become a happy, well-adjusted person again. All thanks to the love of an awesomely perfect popularity princess with a pure heart of gold. Who sees "something special" inside him, that no one else can see ...and sets him on a straight path. All that once in a lifetime fairy dust love, that only exists for perfect pretty popularity princesses in the happily ever after. No, this is the other kind of love story ...the messy kind, that messes peoples lives up irrevocably, for all time. The real kind of love story, that comes hand in hand with hopes and fears, and all that real hurt that burns at your heart. So while our Crazy love might not be as bright and shiny as that fairy dust love is ...our love will kick your loves ass any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. Because our love knows the secret truth about itself. That it's not about how perfectly you fall in love, it's how you get the back up after love kicks your ass sideways, and you come back looking for more. Because our love is that Crazy kind of love, that is so forever you have to fight for it 'till the bitter end ...or die trying. Her Brother's Best Friend - Aching Hearts Series #2

60 parts Complete

If asked, baby Emily Robinson would have gleefully said that, her life revolved around two cornerstones: volleyball, Riley. Volleyball was the passion that gave her life. Riley was the "special friend" that fueled said passion and offered an otherwise insecure, shy little girl the means to grow up strong, confident, badass. Professional volleyball was a dream close to becoming true. Riley was reality. The most reassuring one. If asked, Emily would have said, she could not live without those two. That's why when, in a matter of months, she loses both, Emily's life starts spiraling down. The self consciousness about her looks goes from easily containable to fullout war waging deep inside her, menacing to bring her down any minute. So when, four years later, Riley comes back, he finds that his cutely shy Honeybee has turned into a beautiful quasi woman that is inexplicably paralyzed by fears. How can he help her regain the strength she had? And what happens when he starts realizing that indeed, his Honeybee is no longer a child, she's become a dangerously attractive girl. How can he help her fight her demons, without letting his mind and heart stray? He can't fall for the same child he used to babysit ... or can he? Highest rank #14 in General Fiction (04/08/2017)
