Sheldon and Amy are recently married and decided they wanted to adopt a kid that's where Aristotle comes in.
Sheldon and Amy eventually tell the news to everybody that they are adopting a child the feedback was surprisingly positive.
Two days after the announcement they go to an adoption center that's where they find Aristotle. (Aristotle is a 14 year old girl by the time they meet her, she was a calico haired girl that had a dark sense of style, she was pretty smart for her age. What they don't know is that she was ripped away from her neglectful alcoholic parents after her siblings were killed by them(the only reason she wasn't killed is because they forgot about her) she barely even knows her way around Pasadena California because she lived in Worthing Springs Florida prior to all this.*
