Trouble in Paradise.
Here we are in Gotham city where young Bella Parker doesn't realize that her life is about to get... well lets just say she's in trouble... A Lot of trouble. Anyway she doesn't know why he is doing this. And by he I mean the crazy deranged clown that is more commonly known as the Joker. She can't even live her life normally. She tries to put on a happy face and pretend everything's OK, but its not. She wants to protect the people close to her, but is it a good idea? Or is she just putting herself in danger? What will she do? Better yet, what can she do?

A Modern Joke
As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it! Disclaimer: This story is an original idea, of course I reference moments from DC comics and I borrow their characters to tell the story (After all, It's a fan fiction), but each character belongs to the respective owners.Complete

-If my memory serves correctly, it's been 12 hours since I was kidnapped.- * * * Haley Parker had everything. The perfect family, friends, boyfriend - what more could she want? If only she had learned to be a little more cautious when turning her back to the earth's shadows. Just as things may be falling into place in her life as an adult, she suddenly finds herself across the country, away from home, from everything she's ever known, with nothing but unfamiliar places and her kidnapper not too far away. But perhaps she isn't completely ripped away from everything familiar to her. When Griffin Johnson, her previous boyfriend before he moved 3000 miles away to the west coast, finds her wasted in a bar in California, he knows something is very wrong. And when Haley can't remember a thing, they're both left in the dark as her kidnapper continues to lurk nearby ready to strike again - this time without the intention of messing up. Will they figure out who Haley's kidnapper is and capture him? Jessica Terley and Dick Grayson were practically raised together in the circus. He blames her in part for his parents death since she could have saved them. She is shut out from his life and quickly found by joker who grooms her into his own side kick that doesn't see much of the limelight but often is a critical part in his Arkham breakouts. With her meta ability she is perfect to go spy on projects and get in and out of places quickly. Joker has a plan, corrupt Lex's Superboy project. What will happen I wonder? What do you do when you're a homeless kid on the streets of Gotham? Becoming a criminal is SO straight-forward, so how about something new? Dick Grayson and Wally West, or better known as Robin and Finch, are robbers with a seemingly random pattern and motive. But what happens when a Bat figures out it's not so random, and these teen-aged criminals are not as "bad" as they make themselves out to be? One Young Justice encounter later, and the pair fight for their lives; their lives as either criminals or what they can become. I don't own DC or any references made in this. BATMAN: Fall Of The Dark Knight #Wattys2016
An aging Batman finally crosses the line and does the one thing he swore he would never do one night during a confrontation with The Joker and his girlfriend Harley Quinn. Bruce Wayne has to deal with the repercussions of his fateful actions as not only the people of Gotham turns on Batman but also his former allies as well, including Gotham's tough-as-nails new mayor and the first Robin Dick Grayson and Gotham's new police commissioner Harvey Bullock who replaces the retired James Gordon. His life slides into further turmoil after the sudden death of his longtime butler and confidant Alfred Pennyworth. Then, just when Bruce finally gets his life back on track with the help of former Catwoman Selina Kyle, he is forced to face an old and deadly foe Bane when he kidnaps Dick's wife and former Batgirl Barbara Gordon and their baby daughter Jane Marie. Armed with an armored Batsuit he created in case Superman ever went rogue called The Hellbat, Bruce Wayne goes into battle one last time as Batman to try to save those he cares about. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Given all the hoopla surrounding the movie Batman v. Superman, I wanted to write my own Batman and/or Superman story. After coming up with different scenarios for my story, including my own version of Batman v. Superman (which I still might write later on), I finally decided on this one (for now at least). I wanted to go beyond the controversial The Killing Joke-where The Joker shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Batgirl-and Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns that show a blatantly darker side of BM. Of course, it will be up to the individual reader if I succeeded or not.Complete
