Jack, a self-proclaimed straight man, boarded Flight 427 to San Francisco with a singular goal: business. He'd envisioned the long haul as a cocoon of blissful unconsciousness. Fate, however, had other plans, specifically in the form of Leo. Leo, with his captivating smile, quick wit, and an easy charm that radiated across the aisle, was everything Jack hadn't expected. Their initial polite exchanges about the in-flight movie quickly evolved into deep, personal conversations that stretched across continents and time zones. Jack found himself drawn to Leo in a way he couldn't explain, a magnetic pull that defied his carefully constructed identity. The miles flew by, marked not by sleep, but by shared laughter, whispered secrets, and a growing awareness that something profound was happening between them. As the plane descended, Jack was faced with a choice: return to the comfortable certainty of his past, or embrace the uncharted territory of his feelings for Leo. "Miles-High Affections" explores the complexities of attraction, the courage it takes to question one's own identity, and the unexpected places where love can take flight.

Alex was lost. Not in a figurative way, though. He was literally lost in a forest, with no idea how he got there. Last thing he remembered, Jack had been at the hospital after literally every trace of any human activity there seemed to be erased. This was the same Jack that he had believed to be dead just a week before. The same Jack he had cried nightly over after those dicks at school had basically murdered him. And he was shoving his way through the branches and leaves in the hopes of finding Jack, yet he had literally no idea where he was. The only thing on his mind at the moment was how happy he would feel when he finally got to embrace Jack and tell him how much he loved him and missed him. He was thinking of how he would kiss him and how he would probably cry again, but for the first time in a long time, he would be crying out of joy instead of despair.
