I whimper as he grips my arms and stares down at me. "You are not to leave this house!"

"O-okay" he narrows his eyes. I cringe. I'm hoping and praying he doesn't kill me. But...why is he keeping me here? He doesn't want me. He doesn't love me... Why does he keep pushing me away?

He growls "ALWAYS ANSWER ME WHEN I ASK YOU A QUESTION!!!" Tears run down my cheeks, and I look away from him. He sighs and looks away from me. "Get out of my sight," he lets me go, and I bolt to the room I'm staying in.

I'm so confused, why is he like this? He's my mate.

This is my first supernatural story, so if it sucks sorry. I would like if you could give ideas for the next chapter after each chapter. I'll let you know if I have an idea, and you can decide if it's good or not. If you don't like it, comment. And we'll vote.

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
