Zoro is mentally drained as he hasn't been able to sleep well for the last few days. His nightmares are filled with a reminder of his old "friend" that he'll never be able to protect the one he truly loves...the strawhats and nevertheless to protect Sanji. He is filled with worry that he isn't strong or worthy enough to protect his nakama. Exercising more than usual, and not coming out to eat to avoid questions and concerns about his whereabouts.
