In the year of our Lord, 1929, WWI Navy veteran and son of Polish immigrants, Frank "Popeye" Kowalski, sees the changing tide of America and decides to pursue his dream of sailing the world before the coming crash. However, as he was ready to sail off, he noticed a stowaway: A tall and thin woman with a short haircut that was clearly self administered. Being in the shipping business, he recognized her as Olive Oyl, daughter of Alexander Oyl, one of the biggest names in shipped luxury goods in Boston. Against his better judgment, he agreed to let the woman sail with him and flee from her arranged marriage. What he could not have predicted was that, over the course of their adventures, he would fall hard for the feisty and hard-headed young woman.
