One rainy day a single flowerpot with a bright orange tulip planted in it appears in the Hermitcraft shopping district. Placed next to it is a book that reads:

Greetings, Players of Hermitcraft; we are pleased to know you've volunteered for our little game.
The rules are simple.
Survive the tasks laid out for you each week, actively participate in the game, and discover more about this world.
Right, and one more thing...
No secrets allowed!

Hello and welcome to SoulFlare! An interactive story where you participate as a new type of entity, A Reader. Similar to Watchers and Listeners you can interact with the story. Cause chaos or create comfort. Your ideas can be entered into the story as we progress. Each "week" in the story the Hermits are given a new challenge or task.
This can vary from turning them into children to bringing in characters from other servers.
Do your best to reveal everyone's secrets and cause drama.

I will actively participate as Rawiya (names are Arabic). Depending on how the story goes, I may or may not add you guys to the plot. But if I don't you will be grouped together as Qari or The Readers.
