I don't really know what this is to be honest. Just a for fun story with a lot of angst. After I learned Queen Hecuba of Troy had nineteen children I wondered what happened to all of them after Troy fell. This is what I think might have happened to one of them. Enjoy!
Also btw this is Cassandra getting a happyish ending so we are pretending she doesn't see the future. Also that her husband had a wife before her. . . just enjoy the story and remember it is fiction Kapeesh?

Before the fall of Earth humanity built a great colony ship, ten thousand of the colonist left Earth for a hundred year journey to Gillespie. They came from all over the Earth leaving a planet knowing they would never see another in their lifetime. The Ark is a rotating cylinder the size of a large island with its own train system. It's divided into three main sections, the city, the framlands, and the Lowers. The people are divided into three groups as well, Uppers, Middles and Lowers. Uppers are made of elite scientist, Astro-crops, bureaucrats they made up about 3% of the population. The Middles are are the farmers, the guard, teachers, doctors, the food processors, clothes makers and of course the mechanical maintenance workers. They make-up the 97% of the 10,000 counted citizens. The lowers are criminals and children born to un-paired parents. They live separated from the middles and Upper. In lowers you work in water reclamation or in one of the fish farms that supply protein to the ship. In the year 2149 Dylan De Rovia is trying to wrap her head around the idea that in two year's she'll be paired. That they call marriage on the Ark. Pairing is good most who are paired do end-up staying together because while genetics play good part in determining a match so does personality. Some people choose to use spend this time having a good time with as many partners as possible. Dylan however, vowed that she would never fall in love with anyone before pairing. The universe had other plans however, when Dylan learns that she'll pair with an Upper named Kyive Sinclar life gets more complicated than ever. Falling in love is hard enough falling in love in space that the story.Complete

Note: This is non-canon to my other fanfiction CONTROL; Another fanfic of Mortal Kombat. Also, you may noticed why Kitana is a redhead. I changed it so she dyed her hair red, and randomly got mermaid powers wed. When a sexy vampire comes in, Kitana gets swept up in a forbidden affair that may shatter her chance at freedom. Can she heal her broken heart and make her leave Daegon before things get too complicated? This has mild language, some violence, sexual scenes, and other things. After hearing about Israel's Conquest of the land of Canaan & rumors spreading about their God amongst one of his commander's officers, he willingly sets out on a diplomatic mission to bring to the tribes of Israel gifts, going to Kedesh-Naphtali Priam comes into conflict with Sisera a Canaanite commander of 10,000 Canaanites & 900 chariots, meets Barak of Ephraim before he became a commander, & the prophet Deborah who led Israel at the time. The story continues on with the birth of Parizitis(Paris) & how he came to be as a shepherd boy with his adoptive parents Muwatalli(Agelaus), Kinasara, & his friends Muwaziti, Brutus, Francus, Achates, & Zinasara(Oenone), to him becoming the prince of Taruisa(Troy) meeting his half siblings Deiphobus, Troilus, Hector, & others. Disclaimer: I do not claim to be an expert in historical characters, peoples, times, places, languages, & settings; I'm just a writer, retelling the story of the Trojan War in a new light. Defying Fate
I read a Tumblr post while back about Odysseus meeting and adopting the prophet Cassandra, who had been cursed so that "Nobody would believe her." Of course, if he's going to adopt Cassandra, whom he never met in the original story... why not adopt the kid he was supposed to toss over a wall, and perhaps change the fate of what's supposed to happen along the way? But having a seer on board is not as helpful as I (or he) thought it would be... The goal is once again to keep everybody alive on the journey home, but the gods have different plans for Odysseus and his crew, and they may be bigger than one mortal man can handle. Disclaimer Disclaimer: the first few chapters are not accurate. I may update it in the future to be more accurate to the original myths, but this is an AU anyway, so, take it with its grain of salt.
