In school, there are different kinds of battles-sports competitions, student elections, and most importantly, academic rankings.

And in this battle, there is only one person I want to defeat: Ethan Reyes.

Since our first year in high school, we've been rivals. If I got a perfect score on a quiz, he scored higher in another exam. If I won a competition, he won the next one. It was always neck and neck, always competitive.

We were like fire and ice-never meant to get along.

I thought our rivalry would last forever, an endless war between two people who refused to lose.

But one unexpected event changed everything.
