Under a seemingly endless cold winter, the rebellion group Black Hearts plan their strike on the Kingdom of Thrine seeking for their revenge they've been craving in the shadows.
At the rejection and exclusion of the group of individuals from the kingdom for reasons they qualify as absurd, completely unreasonable and deserving of a response with the same level, or worse, of magnitude, they decide to join forces with villages and other groups to go against the crown.
Briar, a young woman with the passion and the hatred needed to destroy and watch the kingdom crumble till there is nothing left but ruins, leads the Black Hearts for a scheduled plan guided with meticulously planned steps for their next strikes against the allies of the crown of the kingdom before going to the bigger target, the capital Ebony.
With the Black Hearts being a large group willing to fight for their justice and their acceptance, and the allies they're doing on the way without forgetting the individuals joining the rebellion, everything was playing on their side.
But what Briar forgets is that in the most unexpected moments, her plan can turn a different way.
In fact, she most importantly forgets that the mind and actions of a person cannot be controlled.

I have placed this novella in the category 'Romance' as there was no category for 'Action-Romance' - the main romance doesn't happen right way because of the prince's loss and princess being in such trouble, she can only think of herself, of escaping and finding a normal life away from the restrictions of royalty.
