Everyone talks to themselves on occasion, right? Sure, that's normal. The problem arises when another voice...not your own...begins telling you what to do. Or is the issue that you start listening to it? Does your child have an imaginary friend? Or is there something more sinister there? *I don't usually classify my stories as "mature", but this one does include some darker subject matter than I generally deal with. *I have finished this first draft and begun the edits. This story is an attempt for me to write outside of my comfort zone and, so far, it has been quite a bit of fun. I hope that everyone enjoys it. Today is the day that could possibly change my life forever: it could build me up to be as tall as the sky, or knock me down below the floor. There are so many questions racing through my mind. Will he recognise me? Will he recognise my voice? Does he even remember that I exist? But, before I get a chance to find an answer to any of these questions, there is one, or rather a few, obstacles to get around first.

When you find love, sometimes you just know. But, what if you're not allowed to know? What if you're not allowed to love? What happens when you know that being together would mean the death of both of you, literally? Do you fight for a way to love freely, or do you hide your emotions to save the life of the one you love, even if it's only one day at a time?

Not the feeling of love you feel about a family member, the love that consumes you, the love you would do anything for, the love that has your mind in a loop, the love that no one would understand even if you tried to explain it, the love that you would live for....or die for.

Have you ever been under control by some one? Them telling you what to do. Telling you what to say and how to say it. Being under the control of someone who can care less how you feel but it benefits them. How would you feel being under his control?
