This story is based on a roleplay about Brokeback Mountain that I've been doing with a friend for a few months. All credit for the characters goes to the author of the book, but the story and writing were entirely done by us.

This book aims to be a reinterpretation of what's seen in the movies, altering the way events unfold. It can be viewed as an alternative story where the characters are rewritten slightly differently, reflecting how we perceive them. The narrative structure may vary throughout the chapters since this originally started as a roleplay rather than a story written by a single person. Of course, if you want to read it and you're sensitive, I'm not stopping you. This book only touches upon the subjects; It doesn't go deep into suicide attempts and voices. Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. Or, if you're too scared for that, I'll happily listen and give you advice. Thank you! (I needed to include this because I didn't want people thinking I thought the mental illnesses were stupid. WARNING: There is a massive amount of smut in this book. If you do not want to read smut, do not read this book, because there is a hell of a lot of smut. Chapters with smut will be labeled with an (M) on them, showing that they are mature. If you don't want to read smut, please just skip those chapters. IMPORTANT: The characters start out 18, but there are clear inconsistencies. I started writing this before the Wattpad Purge, and I didn't want to go through the entire story and change their age to 18. There will be a couple chapters near the end of the book where they both turn 18, and obviously that's just stupid. I just don't want to get banned, so I'm saying that these characters are already 18, but they also have their 18th birthdays near the end of the book. I'm just being lazy to be honest. The quality of my writing in this book is pretty mid by the way. I'm a teenage boy that listens to 21 Savage, I feel like expectations shouldn't be high.
