November 6th, 2003, Thursday at 6:24 Pm.
Ten year old Miriam Monroe Brass would be reported as missing by his elder brother Vincent Brass to the Redridge police department.
An Amber Alert would soon be issued at 7:15, following the statement from the victim's brother, declaring it an abduction.
Miriam Brass was said to have been searching for his birth parents for the months prior to his kidnapping. When he finally got in contact with them, he convinced his brother to accompany him to Lakewood Park; a thirty minute walk from the boy's home.
Upon arrival, as described by Vincent Brass, the two boys would encounter in the distance a baby-blue 1990 cadillac brougham parked near the north hiking pass. Accompanying the vehicle, two adults, male and female, would be waiting. This is when Vincent Brass would try to convince Miriam to leave. To which his younger brother would ignore, leaving Vincent to go to the waiting car.
But when Miriam continued with unclear conversation, both masked adults would proceed to grab and force the ten year old boy into the back of the vehicle.
The state in which his older brother would arrive at the Redridge police department heavily implied the distance ran to save the ten year old.
But with no license plate or identification of the two abductors, the case of Miriam Monroe Brass would be later marked as unsolved following the last court appeal on the repeating Thursday of August 10th, the year 2006.
