In this AU of Alpha and Omega, Kate makes the decision to marry Garth. However, Tony decides to supplant Winston anyways, becoming a dictator. No longer trusting his son, Tony settles to raise the children of Garth and Kate to succeed him. In a disgusting act, he forces Garth and Kate to have pups to guarantee Lilly's safety.

Months later, a plan is hatched to get Lilly and Kate to Idaho to find a new life away from Jasper. Kate, now heavily pregnant, is determined to get there before her pups are born. However, after the plan goes south after leaving her home, Kate finds herself in the company of the most unlikely of creatures. A spotted hyena named Zoww.
