Emily is finally living the life that she never thought she would be able to live. She has Avengers who have become like a loving family, a safe place to thrive in, and of course, Loki Laufeyson. He is everything that she could have wished for, understanding, thoughtful and loving. He has stood by her side through her journey to create a stable life and helped her cut through the sticky webs of her past.
But a couple of those webs still remain, tugging Emily back to places she would rather not revisit, not when she is planning for her perfect future with Loki. The some of those webs are beginning to look like they will never fade, even with the help of those she loves.
