Maeve McAlister loves her life- well, she loves being alive. But being a mixed blooded fae comes with its challenges, especially being the bastard daughter of one of the most powerful fae in all of Alfeim. Luckily, no one knows who she is- yet- and she plans on keeping it that way.
When Maeve is captured and dragged to Alfar Academy, a fae finishing school, she knows her best bet is to figure out a way back to the mortal realm and keep running until she ages out of the system. But there's a few problems; one, Maeve has no clue where the gates between the worlds are located. Two, there's a serial killer running around on campus, and three; there's a hot, grumpy werewolf following her around who seems to be hiding the truth about the steamy connection between them. Maeve's only choice is to bide her time at the academy until she can get the answers she needs, slip her security detail, and make her way back to the mortal realm. Only, the academy isn't going to let her go any time soon, and the killer just might have Maeve in their sights.
Can she escape back to the mortal realm, or will she end up like her unlucky peers?
