Soul Reaper Kaito Hisagi, son of Shuhei Hisagi and Rangiku Matsumoto, is temporarily in charge of Karakura Town. Kazui and Ichika are going on a field trip to Kyoto, which is far away from the place where they're supposed to fulfill their Soul Reaper duties, so Kaito takes over. 
But he's also deployed for another reason. There is a rogue league of Soul Reapers who are planning to take over the Soul Society and Kaito is there to investigate.
An unlikely companion, a new mystery Quincy, and more enemies are waiting to be revealed

(Currently not writing this until the main story and love side story is complete)
