Wickedness must be punished.

In the shadow of the Emerald City, 17-year-old Elgalyn struggles to control her emerging powers, powers that could get her killed if discovered. As the daughter of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Fiyero, Elgalyn's destiny is intertwined with Oz's fate.

But Oz is a land in chains. The Wizard's rule has become increasingly brutal, with magic users forced into hiding, animals silenced, and dissenters punished severely. The once-vibrant streets of the Emerald City are now patrolled by the Wizard's ruthless soldiers, crushing any spark of rebellion.

Hidden away for her own protection, Elgalyn grows restless, feeling an innate desire to fight against the Wizard's tyranny. Her brother, Fariq, is the only one who knows her true nature, but even he doesn't understand the weight of their family's legacy.

When a tornado brings Jack, a human teenager from Kansas, to Oz, Elgalyn's world is turned upside down. Jack is charming, resourceful, and determined to find a way back home. As Elgalyn helps Jack navigate this strange new world, they begin to form a forbidden bond, one that could put them both in danger.

As Elgalyn navigates her growing feelings for Jack, she must also confront the darkness within herself and decide where her loyalties lie. Will she follow in her mother's footsteps, or forge her own path? And what secrets will she uncover about her family's past and the true nature of the Wizard's power?
