Everything felt empty, lonely and cold, I always felt it and I always wanted to fill it but for some reason I couldn't find it until finally I met someone named Mr. Lee, I didn't know who he was, he was smiling at the edge of the alley where I was and at that time it was very dark, quiet and there was only light that couldn't illuminate everything. However, the light managed to make me see what I was doing.
until I met him, the figure I consider to be my father, my family and I would do anything for him.

What was that? A lost monkey? A shadow? A demon? At this point, who knows. He certainly can't tell. MK's eyes and ears start to play cruel tricks on him. He starts seeing and hearing strange things that nobody else can. And, for some reason, he always feels the need to draw whenever something odd occurs. Doing so helps, but not for long. I float calmly, eternity surrounds me, I speak no words, but I hear my voice in all directions. I feel my head, it's wet with blood. I feel my stomach, the same. I am dead. I reach my hand out, but I do not feel his grip embrace mine. I look in his direction but he is not there, mere darkness, no blackness, no... there is nothing. I am nowhere. I float alone, in my ears ring melodies that sound familiar but I am sure I've never heard. I feel my identity fading. I float alone, surrounded by infinity. I am free, but I have never felt so trapped. What am I remembering? When did I get here? How many times have I been here? I open my eyes.
Journey: Into The Never-ending Way
Why does one travel from a well known neighborhood to another where the outcome of the visit is not yet understood? I could name the streets and places in my neighborhood. There was a well defined map in my head that used comfortable explanations for what to expect. Then, everything changed. I drove up the hill, parked the car in a familiar place. When I walked into the house all the furniture was the same. Yet, when I sat beside him everything I knew went away. My mind was empty, only able to engage in superficial talk. I was afraid of his cancer. I didn't know what to say or how to help. I was lost in the whole sorry business. I gave him what comfort my presence was good for and, he gracefully accepted it like a brother would. Behind the warmest smile I could draw up was a deserted beach, waves of questions washing against my feet. A great ocean met the horizon and disappeared somewhere beyond where eyes could take a mind. Where would the questions take me? Where do you start such a quest?Complete

I wear a mask so well that even I almost believe it. Almost. Then I met him. His eyes were hollow, his smile a lie-just like mine. In him, I saw my own reflection, the same quiet suffering hidden beneath perfect façades. For the first time, I wasn't alone. But happiness is always fleeting. One moment, he was there. The next, he was gone. A fall from a rooftop. A life stolen too soon. Now, the world feels unreal. Shadows shift. Whispers grow louder. And in the corner of my vision, I still see him. If he's gone... why does it feel like he never left?

For some reason unknown to me, I started shaking. It was so strong. I felt something I'd never felt before. All my life, I believed I was the only force that could put me in whatever position I wanted. Coupled with the fact that I was on drugs and I was still recovering, I felt my head spin around the room. Then, I fell on the ground. I felt a weight leaving my body. However, it was taking time to leave, so I stayed in that position and let myself sleep under that force that took me to the ground. "Whatever this view is, it's beautiful." I saw a big painting before me. It was bright and precious, and I smiled. The small boy that I was reached out to touch the colors spread out on it, but I couldn't reach. "Do you want it?" A masculine voice asked. Before he could finish, I nodded my head in excitement. "Here you go." "How much is it, please?" "It's free. It's yours. You can hang it on your bedroom wall and stare at it whenever you want." "Why won't you let me pay?" "Because it's so costly. You can't buy it. Even if your mum were here, she wouldn't afford to get it for you." "That's so bad," I looked down. "If I take this home, everyone will think I stole it. I have to buy it." "If they think so, tell them you got it here." I sighed. And I looked at it again. "Thank you." I turned to leave. "I'm Ethan. Can I know your name?" When I turned, he was out of sight. "Hello?" I started searching for him everywhere. "Hello? You promised me to come back." I sighed again. "How is everyone going to believe me?" I murmured, head bowed low. Then, I took the painting home.Complete
