The Village's Son

Plot Summary:

Jaeyun, a Korean-Italian omega from a prestigious family, is in a deeply loving relationship with Heeseung, a brilliant Korean alpha from a wealthy but traditional countryside family. Despite their differences in upbringing, their bond has grown stronger over the years, leading to a proposal in a fancy restaurant. Heeseung's commitment to Jaeyun is unwavering, and he chooses to marry him, defying the expectations set by their families.

However, Jaeyun's mother, Sim Julia, disapproves of his choice, arguing that Heeseung's rural family will mistreat him. She tries to exert control, grounding Jaeyun and telling him that his life is not his own. Jaeyun, now 25, pushes back, insisting that his life and choices are his own. Despite his mother's anger, Heeseung supports Jaeyun, and they travel to Heeseung's countryside home to confront the family.

Upon arriving, they are met with Heeseung's strict father, Lee Han-min, who is deeply rooted in tradition. Han-min, married to three women-Park Yun-lee, a serious and traditional omega; Yong Min-hae, a joyful but naive omega; and Lim Nae-min, Heeseung's mother, a beautiful but equally strict omega-gives Heeseung an ultimatum. Heeseung must prove his choice of Jaeyun is the right one and that he is capable of handling the responsibilities of their traditions.

Tensions rise when Han-min demands the wedding happen in two days, surprising both Heeseung and Jaeyun. The family, especially Yun-lee and Nae-min, are less than thrilled about the union, but Heeseung's determination to marry Jaeyun remains firm. As the pressure builds, Jaeyun and Heeseung must navigate their relationship under the weight of tradition, family expectations, and the looming wedding that will change their lives forever.
