When a fatal accident claimed their father's life eleven years ago, the Marsden family fell apart. What was once a happy and noisy family transformed into a quiet, reserved, and seemingly uncaring group of strangers forced to live together. With their mom off on an even longer business trip than usual, and the youngest of the family, Lila, starting her new college life, the siblings are finally forced to interact with each despite their anger and uncertainties. How will Lila glide forwards into this new pace of life with the pressures of living with her rude and dismissive older brothers, building her ice skating career, AND dealing with the joys and problems that come with being a college freshman? Is there a chance to fix her broken family and discover where she really fits into adult life?

Everyday Zara Briggs is forced to attend a school full of immature human beings who are completely ignorant to each others feelings and problems. In her old life, Zara was the beloved Queen Bee of the school. Everyone loved her, especially her devoted boyfriend Alex. Her popularity was short lived, however, as along came Madison to smash that life to smithereens. Now Zara is labeled as the school slut, left with no friends, a broken heart and a bully set on tormenting her. The only thing that keeps her sane is flying around the town on her skateboard. When Nathan Channing joins the school he's determined to befriend the girl who seems so introverted and shy. Is Zara prepared to let time heal her wounds?
