Amara, the daughter of a noble Roman family, is exposed as having barbarian lineage after political rivals orchestrate her family's downfall. Her parents are executed, and she is sold into slavery, ending up in the imperial palace as a scribe. Geta, the elder emperor, notices her fiery spirit and sharp wit during their first meeting. She speaks out when others dare not, criticizing an imperial decree while maintaining just enough caution to avoid punishment. Intrigued by her defiance, Geta orders her to become his personal scribe.

In the brutal arena of ancient Rome, a skilled gladiator known only as Y/N rises through the ranks, defeating opponent after opponent with unmatched precision and strength. Her victories capture the attention of Emperor Geta, a ruler as cold and calculating as the empire he commands. Impressed by her prowess, Geta appoints Y/N as his personal guard, but their relationship begins with nothing but disdain and tension. As they are forced into proximity, the line between hatred and attraction blurs, and Geta finds himself drawn to the fierce and independent woman he once viewed as nothing more than a weapon. In a world where power and survival are everything, can a gladiator and an emperor find common ground-or will their differences tear them apart?
