Blair Diaz was dead. And she'd been dead for nearly thirty years, and she had accepted the fact that she was dead and stuck in a school she wished she could leave.

But Wally Clark hadn't accepted it. He wouldn't, not for her, he wanted to find out what happened to her. They knew the basics, she was murdered in a school shooting. But why? And why was she the only dead victim? And why was the classroom burnt to shreds after she was shot?

But then Maddie Nears showed up with her own mystery, and Blair pushed herself to help Maddie so she could forget about her own trauma, and hope that Wally would let it go.

But of course that wouldn't happen, they just didn't expect to fall in love during the process.
