Between the Lines

Zara Nightshade was born into the prestigious Nightshade family, where she faced constant criticism and high expectations. Unable to meet her parents' standards, she decided to leave her family and start anew in the bustling city of Noctis. There, she found a small apartment and met her spirited roommate, Evelyn "Eve" Starling.

In search of solace, Zara developed a love for reading and bought a novel titled The Saint's Redemption. She grew increasingly frustrated with the protagonist's actions and decided to take a walk to clear her mind. While walking, Zara witnessed a child wandering into a busy street and instinctively rushed to save the child from an oncoming car. She succeeded but was fatally struck in the process. Zara's last thoughts were of the child's safety, highlighting her selfless bravery.
