Twiggium

Sakalina was a climber. She knew the business of the harvest, and was never satisfied with low-hanging fruit. Sakalina sought the brave, the bold, and the magnificent scribina twigs that grew atop the highest branches. A freak accident left her unable to enjoy the fruits of her climbing, and at risk of losing her funding for school. She despised the isolation, and wanted some connection, any connection. She did not expect find it where she did. A most unusual stranger befriended her, and Sakalina found herself fighting for her friend's life. Together, they struggle to find and realize the true fruits of their mutual callings.
