The First Two

The Alpha sat in his most comfortable chair starring at the flames that danced for him in the open fireplace. He was waiting to hear if his soon to be born chid was a girl or a boy. He has a glass of whiskey clutched tightly in his fist as he pondered the gender of the child. If it were to be another girl he would have to continue his endever to produce a boy amongst the pack women. But if it were to be a boy he could finally stop and settle down to raise the next Alpha and find a permanent wife.
