I can't remember the last time I saw a person that wasn't clad in a laboratory coat or a Soviet uniform.
I've heard them. Their screams. Their sobs. Their fruitless pleas for mercy.
I've felt them. The machines they use on people here tend to send erratic vibrations through the floor.
Sometimes, I can even smell them. People tend to piss themselves when they're terrified.
I've seen their blood, sometimes still wet and dripping down the walls or pooling at the drains.
But I've never seen them.

She had moved in to the apartment across from him, playing the friendly neighbour, which was a feat in itself. Lexi was never considered a friendly type of person. It was her mission, to help keep him safe, recover his past, and obtain any Hydra information. She makes sure to bump into him, while shopping for groceries, introducing herself, but she finds he's very closed off and guarded. Can she get through to him, or will he up and run again?
