The two girls meet and start enjoying each others company, but both of them have a dark side that they don't want to come out. Furthermore, Kylie's mom is overprotective and doesn't want her little girl getting hurt phisically or emotionally so she doesn't want Kylie dating anyone. Malia's parents on the other side don't know about her sexual orientation since they are pretty religious, the only person who knows in her family is her little sister who is keeping it a secret.
