Morena Jakupi, 23 years old and a member of a notorious gang, has spent her life on the streets. She knows the rules, knows who she can trust - and that betrayal is punished by death. But when she gets arrested, she comes face to face with Enrique Ramírez: the stubborn 29 year-old investigator who wants nothing more than to see her behind bars.

This time, however, Enrique has a different plan. Instead of simply locking Morena away, he forces her to make an impossible choice: either she works with him to bring down her own gang, or she faces a long prison sentence.

For Morena, the decision is a death sentence. If her former allies find out about her betrayal, she's as good as dead. But she has no choice. And as Enrique and she delve deeper into a web of lies, violence, and corruption, the impossible begins to happen: they have to trust each other.
