A human girl would appear out of the sky and form a strong bond with the person who rescued her. Despite that Silver is from the future, his prediction is far-fetched. But once Sonic and their friends spot a girl falling helplessly, they suddenly realize that Silver means business. The person who rescued her? The Ultimate Lifeform, Shadow the Hedgehog. With his new, majestic wings and without hesitation, he soars to the skies and brings Alinta Emerald to safety. But what Shadow does not know at the time is that not only did he rescue her, but he also rescued himself. Alinta was mostly lonely within her cruel world, but now, she may have met her first friend - possibly more than that - if Shadow lets her in. But Shadow is worried. If he welcomes Alinta in, will something horrible happen to her? Will he lose her like he did with Maria? If his feelings do outsmart him, he must protect Alinta - no matter what.
