Hi everyone! This is my take on the Cursed AU series by "Casserole :D" on Youtube. They make really awesome animatics, so go check them out!
I'm not sure if anyone even reads Dream SMP fanfics anymore, but honestly, I don't really care. I've had this idea stuck in my head ever since I watched the animatics, so I'm writing it anyway-if nothing else, just for fun. No, I'm still not over the Dream smp and I don't think I ever will be :D
This series will have three 'Acts':
Act 1: How to Train Your Hoglin
Act 2: The Crow Monster
Act 3: The Monster Within
A note on my upload schedule: I will do my best to upload once a week (probably Sundays or Mondays), but I can't promise anything. School is a lot right now, and I can't afford to make this my top priority. Also, I prefer quality over quantity and I want to make sure everything I publish is my best work. Please don't pressure me for updates :)

Staring at him was the hoglin, a hopeful look in its eyes. No, that was silly. Hoglins didn't get "hopeful looks". They were hoglins. He watched as the beast slowly moved closer, cautiously and without any sudden movements, as you would if you were trying to get close to a skittish animal.
Why hadn't it attacked him yet? What did it want? It was a meter away, then a foot, an arm's length, then they were only a few inches apart. Phil didn't move. He could read the animal's body language and see in its eyes that it had no intent to harm him. So he just waited to see what it would do.

He grins and Tommy can't help but smile back at the God of Music "He couldn't wait to see us, obviously" teases the Blood God and Tommy scoffs "As if- I actually live here nimrods, technically you're visiting me" he retorts and they chuckle "Then maybe we should have knocked?" That's a third voice and Tommy shivers in delight, watching a third man descend from seemingly nowhere, ebony wings gracing his fall as he lands lightly, emerald robes swilling around his feet as he smiles warmly. A warble rises to his lips in greeting "Good evening, Tommy" Or: Mortal Tommy and three powerful Gods- what could possibly go wrong? Everyone on the DreamSMP had a 'hybrid' animal counterpart that was merged with their DNA. Ranboo the Enderman, and Technoblade the Piglin, to name a couple. To everyone, Dream was the only one without a hybrid. He banned the End so no-one could kill the dragon. A hybrid is easy to spot, as they usually have body parts that correspond to their mob, which cannot be safely removed, though many have tried. 'It was dark outside by now, and Dream could hear the sounds of monsters roaming the surface. He shivered and grabbed his stone sword a little tighter. He's safe in here... nothing can hurt him... right? A too close for comfort zombie groan made him press more into the corner of his hideout. What he wouldn't give to be back home again, just recording with his friends and having fun in the streams they do together or have patches curl up against his side. He would prefer almost anything over the situation he's in right now. One wrong move and his life would be over. He hates it here. He just wants to go home. Please.' ---- Hey! I did something similar to this for a German story I published like two years ago, so I figured, why not do it in English too? So here goes nothing! This will be a long one! Also, I already want to apologize for not writing the characters 'realistic' enough at some points. I mainly watch Philza and Techno, so everyone else is a bit... unknown to me? Mcyt - Mythic AU (Discontinued)
In this world you're either part animal, a fantastical beast, or a human. The beasts are called Mythics. The Humans don't quite like the Mythics, and they declared war on them unfortunately won. The Humans banished the Mythics to a far away land, and if caught in a foreign land, consider yourself dead. The Mythic AU world depends on how good a certain Mythic is in morals, which coincides with what they would look like. The Humans of course, remain unaffected by these laws. If the village is always good hearted and has the best morals you would only have ears and a tail. (depending on the species of course). If the village was neutral, meaning they did both good and bad at times, they'd have ears and a tail, but other animal features too like paws or animal facial features. And finally if the village had horrible morals, and did everything evil in their power, they'd be considered a 'Beast'. Now a beast, is a Mythic who has completely lost their marbles and gone full beast, but they walk around like humans, (basically typical werewolves.) They'd be covered in fur or scales head to toe and act like complete monsters. They can also potentially develop other species mutations, like horns or strange appendages. (Take notice how I did this is chapter 3's drawing.) Beasts are able to change humans into Mythics as well, with the intent of course. Never in the world of the Mythic AU has a good beast ever been recorded. Hope you enjoy! It turns out, he isn't the only one with odd, unexplained abilities. Before he can settle in with Phil and his crazy house of teens, Techno's past catches up to him with terrifying results.
