Mina Carter, an overworked barista with a knack for bad luck, accidentally summons a demon after drunkenly reading Latin off the internet. Instead of doom and destruction, she gets Azazel-a cocky, absurdly attractive demon who's on the run from Hell's Legal Department for breaking the one rule demons never break:
He fell in love with a human.
Now, with Hell's bureaucrats, bounty hunters, and one very grumpy archangel hot on their trail, Azazel convinces Mina to fake-date him to prove their relationship is "Hell-approved" and avoid execution. Unfortunately, between dodging demonic auditors, impressing Lucifer, and dealing with Mina's nosy landlord, their fake relationship starts feeling a little too real.
With eternal damnation on the line, Azazel has to decide: face Hell's wrath, or risk everything for love?
Will Mina take the leap with him? Or will she break his heart before the underworld does?
