Aastha's eyes fluttered open, her gaze met with an unfamiliar ceiling. Panic set in as she scrambled to remember how she got there. The last thing she recalled was walking home from the library, the crisp night air biting at her skin.
A faint rustling sound came from the corner of the room. Aastha's heart skipped a beat as a figure emerged from the shadows. His piercing gaze locked onto hers, sending shivers down her spine.
"Who are you?" Aastha demanded, trying to hide the tremble in her voice.
The stranger's lips curled into a sly smile. "You're in my home now, Aastha," he said, his deep voice dripping with an otherworldly possessiveness. "My name is Adiraj. And you... are mine."
Aastha's breath caught in her throat as Adiraj began to move closer, his eyes burning with an intensity that made her skin crawl.
