His mouth traveled along my jaw, down the column of my neck, each kiss searing into me, marking me as his. My fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer, aching for more, for everything. His hands skimmed over my sides, exploring, claiming, igniting a fire that threatened to consume us both.

"Nathaniel," I breathed, his name a prayer, a plea.

He paused, his forehead resting against mine, his chest rising and falling with unsteady restraint. "Tell me to stop," he whispered, his voice thick, husky. "And I will."
