Based off a true story... [This story highlights Janiqua's middle school and adult life.] Janiqua's life was forever changed when she met Malik in middle school. He was her first crush, even though, she was smitten by his captivating features- dark chocolate skin, pink lips, and piercing dark-brown eyes, their budding romance was cut short when Malik left for high school, leaving Jay behind. Years went by, high school was a learning experience, new friendships, heartbreaks, and relationships shaped who she was was as a person. Now an adult, she found herself conflicted with her own pass experiences and wanting to give up on love. But of course fate had other plans. Malik, now a new man, reappeared in Janiqua's life and their reunion sparked a chain of events that would alter her destiny. But with many obstacles in the way, they wondered: is this the right thing to do? Or will the scars of the past tear them apart? {Hi! My name is Aneishka I'm the author @jaebae27. This book contains Jamaican language and English. I haven't made up my mind about my goals with this book yet. I might do them in parts but this is me using my spare time to highlight a true story of my own life with a mixture of fiction. Feel free to advise and help me along the way. Thanks much. Luv Neish 💞}
