This takes place around season five-ish where Dean and Castiel are becoming closer. It is never ewasy coming to terms with an unpredictable crush but in this story Dean has it rough. He is dealing with his feelings for his angel friend, while struggling with things like internalized homophobia and morals. Dean doesn't understand why he feels this way and he doesn't think he ever will but it feels so right.
