"I wish you were a girl". This takes place around season five-ish where Dean and Castiel are becoming closer. It is never ewasy coming to terms with an unpredictable crush but in this story Dean has it rough. He is dealing with his feelings for his angel friend, while struggling with things like internalized homophobia and morals. Dean doesn't understand why he feels this way and he doesn't think he ever will but it feels so right.

After Dean is killed by the angels, the Winchesters and angels find themselves shattered beyond repair. Castiel is hunting down the angels and anyone who ever hurt Dean, using his new power to destroy what remains of Heaven. The Winchesters and the other angels meanwhile are grieving in their own ways while trying to find Castiel and stop him. Through all of this, the demons are still pursuing Sam in hopes of using him to summon their king. Will the Winchesters and the angels be able to pick up the remnants of their lives and protect what remains of their broken family?
