For worse or for better, I was leaving my old life behind. Not that I was leaving much, other than my parents. The few friends I had in my life drifted away from me and my chaos throughout the last couple years. At 17 I was dealing with more loss than I knew was possible for a girl my age. By the time I woke up from the flurry of grief, everyone else had already moved on- without me. Without her. So here I am. Packing my life into a suitcase and hoping for the best. A fresh start waiting for me...across the world. Meeting the son of Blackwood Academy wasn't on my list of goal for the new school year. His rugged good looks and secret sweet heart would be getting me in far more trouble than I bargained for.

Callum-
Blackwood was a second home for most of the students that attended the timeless academy on the country side of England. For me, it was home. Not only did my family own the prestigious institution but it was an escape. Here I had my own life, full of material attachments un mucked by emotional anchors. Had I known that the little brown headed American who showed up at my front door soaked head to toe and covered in mud would leave more than just my floors a mess, I wouldn't have let her in.
