Taking place long after the fall of the H.R.W, a certain grumpy yet kind russian H.R.W medical operator was revived inside an unknown void before thrown inside a Portal and hit his head on a tree knocking him out! Let's see if our (my) beloved Doc can survive in this screwed up world and make it a slightly better place by treating people and beating up idiots! But he still needs to be careful, one wrong move and he would die a second time or worse, experienced the feeling of slowly getting corrupted by a parasite for the third time and final time...

This story is very inspired by Porsches book called Beyond fiction and the thoughts that appeared in my head when thinking about Petrov... Also don't expect for this book to have 5 chapters completed since I tend to lose interest faster than my dad leaving to fish with his buddies

Edit:I regret writing this, I'm gonna die from cringe.

43 parts Complete

A year. That's how long it's been since they started running. Rannok thought things would be easier this way. But a year later and they're still running from the shadow of Sasha's father and from the memories that plague Rannok's dreams at night. A year later and they are still wandering. Rannok didn't know that when he stole money from the local innkeeper, that this time it would set the local mercenaries after him. When he searches for help, he finds the people of the mountains are just as intolerant as the ones back home, just in different ways. And with cultural differences coming between them, he questions if he and Sasha will ever truly see eye to eye, and whether they will ever truly find peace.
