Ji-hyun had spent years burying the past, drowning herself in lines of codes and endless data streams. As a data engineer, she believed in logic, in patterns, in things that made sense. But nothing about her twin sister's death did. Three years had passed since their last conversation--sharp words exchanged when her sister, choose the rigid discipline of the military over the world they once shared. And now Ji-hyun stood frozen at her doorstep, staring at the two solemn faced officers handing her a folded flag, military pendant and a letter sealed in an official envelope. "Presumed dead in the line of duty". They said. But then came the messages. The first was cryptic, encoded. "She isn't MIA". Ji-hyun knew better than to chase ghosts. Yet, as the clues unraveled, a terrifying truth surfaced--one that led her down a path she never imagined. Because in a system built on deceit, the only way to expose the truth is to become the lie.

He was convinced he could change my mind. Or die trying.
